Professional Secrecy and Personal Data Protection: The law firm employs individuals who are subject to professional ethical codes and are obliged to maintain confidentiality regarding all information concerning the Client and their affairs. In accordance with Article 15 of the Code of Ethics for Legal Advisers: A legal adviser is obliged to maintain secrecy regarding all information concerning the client and their affairs, disclosed to the legal adviser by the client or obtained in any other way in connection with the performance of any professional activities, regardless of the source of this information and the form and manner of its fixation (professional secrecy). Professional secrecy also includes all documents created by the legal adviser and correspondence between the legal adviser and the client and individuals involved in handling the case – created for purposes related to the provision of legal assistance. Professional secrecy also covers information disclosed to the legal adviser before they undertake professional activities, if it arises from the circumstances of the case that the disclosure was for the purpose of providing legal assistance and it was reasonable to expect that the legal adviser would provide it. In accordance with Article 16 of the Code of Ethics for Legal Advisers: Observance of professional secrecy not only entails a prohibition on disclosing information and documents referred to in Article 15, but also a prohibition on using them for one's own benefit or that of another person, unless otherwise provided by law or the Code. In accordance with Article 17 of the Code of Ethics for Legal Advisers: The obligation to maintain professional secrecy cannot be limited in time and exists even after the cessation of the profession.
